Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

BusinessBOX Consultancy LLC, registered with the Qatar Financial Centre under No. 545, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. We handle personal data in line with the QFC Data Protection Regulations and the laws of the State of Qatar.

2. What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, phone number, email address and the content of your messages. The contact form on this website does not send anything to our servers. It opens WhatsApp with your message filled in, and the message is sent only if you press send in WhatsApp.
• When you work with us: your billing details (name, company, address and email), the invoices we issue, and the documents and data you share for your project.
• When you pay: payments are processed by MyFatoorah. We receive the payment confirmation, such as the amount, date and reference. We do not receive or store your full card number. The charge appears on your card statement as BUSINESSBOX CONSULTANCY LLC.
• When you visit this website: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, also processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your questions and arrange consultations.
• To deliver the services you engage us for.
• To issue invoices, collect payments and keep accounting records.
• To meet our legal obligations.
• To keep this website secure and understand how it is used.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run our business, and only as far as they need it:

• Cloudflare (website hosting and analytics)
• Microsoft 365 (email)
• Xero (invoicing and accounting)
• MyFatoorah (online payments)
• WhatsApp (messages you send us)
• Our bank, for payments

We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it. Some of these providers process data outside Qatar.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Invoices, payment records and accounting records are kept for ten (10) years, to meet commercial record-keeping obligations and to resolve billing disputes. When that period ends, they are deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, to correct it, or to delete it when we no longer need to keep it. You can also object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@businessbox.me. We respond within 30 days. Records we must keep under section 5 cannot be deleted before that period ends.

7. Security

This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit access to client data to the people who need it to do their work.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
